This year's home ornament features a wintergreen roof and door alongside handdrawn architectural details and 22 k gold accents. This piece measures about 4" x 4.25" .
As I worked on these ornaments I thought about all the homes in my life and how I have learned to love so adoringly, say I'm sorry with so much humility, feel safe to belly laugh and ugly cry, make new traditions that bind us so beautifully. Home is a feeling that grounds us when we feel broken or lost. Home is a place of becoming, where we grow and gather.
