A project about a year of healing under the orange trees and using art to move through emotion and live in beautiful moments.
Inspired by Mary Oliver's poem Of Love
"I have been in love more times than one,
thank the Lord. Sometimes it was lasting
whether active or not. Sometimes
it was all but ephemeral, maybe only
an afternoon, but not less real for that.
They stay in my mind, these beautiful people,
or anyway beautiful people to me, of which
there are so many. You, and you, and you,
whom I had the fortune to meet, or maybe
missed. Love, love, love, it was the
core of my life, from which, of course, comes
the word for the heart..."
The Patchwork Collection is my way of slowing down time, of noticing the beauty in the repetition of hands in the day to day. It’s a celebration of the quiet devotion it takes to keep creating, even in the margins of a full life. A way of saying thank you to the generations who taught us that nothing made with care is ever truly small.
These pieces are meant to live with you the way handmade things do: softening over years, gathering stories of their own. They invite you to pause, to see the sacred in the ordinary, to remember that a life is built not all at once, but little by little.
May this collection meet you in your own season of making whether you’re stitching together a family, a home, a tradition, a dream. May it remind you that the work of your hands and the rhythm of your days matter.
Patchwork is a reminder of the truth that beauty doesn’t arrive fully formed. It’s shaped, mended, tended, and treasured—piece by piece.
