Elena Ceramic Poem

$87.00

Elena

I watched a leaf fall from the birch.

It was brown and wispy,

discarded like old skin.

I felt somber,

empty.

Soon, a green bud took its place

and a leaf grew

and it fell from the birch again.

I felt relief,

Joy.

I can’t wait to watch it again.
